Nevada Outdoor Education and Recreations Grants
The Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation (NDOR) is dedicated to creating sustainable funding sources that strengthen and grow outdoor recreation across the state. Our grant programs are designed to empower Nevada’s communities, organizations, and agencies to increase outdoor education, restore and improve recreation infrastructure, and preserve and promote Nevada’s incredible starry skies.
Whether your goal is to engage youth in outdoor activities, rehabilitate existing facilities, create new recreation opportunities, or protect our dark skies, NDOR grants can help turn your vision into reality.
Youth Outdoors Growth and Innovation (YOGI) Grant

Community Outdoor Recreation and Revitalization (CORR) Grant
The CORR Grant supports the development of new outdoor recreation infrastructure and the rehabilitation or improvement of existing facilities. This funding source helps Nevada’s communities enhance economic development, boost tourism, and improve overall quality of life through accessible and sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities.
There is currently no funding available for this grant; however, the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation is committed to pursuing funding and is actively seeking donations for this program.
Cosmos Across Nevada (CAN) Grant
Nevada has some of the darkest skies in the West! With our variety of rural communities and vast undeveloped public lands, we offer some of the best stargazing opportunities.
The Nevada Starry Skies Certification is geared toward communities interested in reducing unnecessary lighting and preserving our night skies. This grant program assists communities in obtaining certification through activities like lighting retrofits to become dark-sky compliant. [Learn more about the Nevada Starry Skies Certification.]
There is currently no funding available for this grant; however, the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation welcomes financial support for this program.
